Ormonde Private Cellar is situated in Darling, West Coast where the uniqueness of the Darling Hills terrior gives the Ormonde label its distinct appeal. The aim of winemaking at Ormonde is “to produce wines of elegance with a long finish. Oak should not be dominant, and only French oak barriques are used.”
VREDE EN LUST
Vrede en Lust is widely acknowledged as one of South Africa’s top wine estates. Their grapes are sourced from two vineyards in the Simonsberg-Paarl wine and Casey’s Ridge vineyard in Elgin. Vrede en Lust has three distinct ranges – the premium Vrede en Lust range, the Flagship range with their striking black labels and the Artisan range.
Louisvale is situated at the foot of the majestic Stellenbosch Mountains in verdant Devon Valley. The lush, manicured vineyards produce outstanding wines, many of which have been award winning. They are best known for their chardonnay and are considered one of the pioneers of chardonnay in South Africa.
Groot Constantia is one of Cape Town’s big seven attractions, situated on the Cape Peninsula overlooking False Bay. The vineyards are tucked in the steep valley on the eastern side of Table Mountain. Steeped in South African history, the wine farm was first founded by Simon Van der Stel in 1685 and now upholds their legacy through world class, award winning wines.
